A high school friend of mine. 24. Stabbed to death by her boyfriend this morning, the papers quoted "jealousy". That bastard tried to kill himself too but failed, and is still in the ICU.

So young. No life should end this way.

Otis Damon Harris, one-time lead singer of The Temptations. Sang the lead, I believe, on PAPA WAS A ROLLIN' STONE.  For a weird coincidence see an apparently unrelated thread of that name from yesterday (also in Life). Anyway, another great soul singer gone.
