I like a good old fried egg butty in white bread with loads of black pepper on. Our lass turns her nose up at them as being unhealthy but I use a tiny bit of oil, about the same as I would for scrambled which she will eat. The fucking idiot.

Just to add to the above, use a whisk to make the whirlpool rather than a spoon. Crack the egg into a cup with a small amount of vinegar and slide the egg into the centre of the whirlpool.

You are best using the freshest eggs you can. The older the egg, the more you will get the cum soup effect.

Knocked bread on the head so over doing it with eggs for me weekend breakie. Taken to having avacadot omlettes with grilled smoked mackerel bit of chilli flakes in the eggs. Its fucking ace!!!
