Sure you've all seen this today, but if not.....

That was great - brought it all back. Sold the whole cinema out, every screen in the place for two showings tonight and afterwards a lot of happy faces. Heaving. Strachan and Vinnie were brilliant as were all to be fair including Gary Speed's old man. Great team spirit and you can see how much it still means to them all. Lovely to see Wilko signing autographs on the way out. Good job!

Re: Do you want to win?

Was Batty there or did it clash with walking his dog?

Re: Do you want to win?

I'm guessing he was hoovering the cat.

Or emptying the caravan's chemical toilet

You are what you repeatedly do. Excellence is not an event - it is a habit.

Re: Do you want to win?

Whats the deal with Batty then? Not one for nostalgia or just a bit unsociable?

In his autobiography he basically said he wasn't interested in football and when he wasn't playing he didn't watch it or socialise with other sin it

He liked nothing better than walking his dog and going to his caravan in Filey (or some other East Yorkshire coastal town)

Good for him and I think most others have some respect for his stance

He's his own man, I guess. He did used to go out in town a fair bit after the match. On one occasion he turned up in The Duck and Drake, his hair wet, about 5 minutes after we got there. impressive when you consider we'd left the match early.

Re: Do you want to win?

Used to see him and Speedo in Conservatory at Christmas.

I'd offer you a beer, but I've only got six cans.
