Topic: Bristol City

If TC is true to his press conference this afternoon and no major changes planned, then I foresee more woe. 2-0 Bristol.

He spent all night staring down at the lights of LS. Wondering if he could ever go home.

Re: Bristol City

As above.

The insurgency began.................and you missed it.

Re: Bristol City

He does need to stop tinkering with the team though, that is one element of concern for me.

Re: Bristol City

If we lose this, no matter how much they deny it, the board will start considering Christiansen's position. They'll maybe give him three games. This isn't my view, give a manager 18 months I've always said. Modern way is instant returns. It's a big match.

Call me up in dreamland. Radio to me man.

Re: Bristol City

My internal optimist says TC’s faith in his team will be repaid by an increase in performance.

My omjdar says the definition of stupidity is repeating the same mistakes and expecting a different result.

For me we need Anita back in and Vieira. Hernandez and Saiz isnt working. Need more steel in midfield. Go and win the battle then play football. Beradi needs someone in front of him equally adept at coming back as going forward. CBJ had a shocker against Burnley but I thought was decent in first few games.

Id drop drop Beradi for Anita and Hernandez and Roofe for Dallas and Vieira. Leaving Okane to get forward more to support Saiz and Lassoga.

Ayling Everton Jansson Anita
        Phillips  Vieira  Dallas
                   Okane
     Saiz.                  Lassoga

Decent looking line up that although I'd prefer to see us playing a goalkeeper too!

On a separate note, nearly 33,000 tickets sold for the Sky game against Sheffield United next week...and that,s before today's defeat against Bristol!
Another sell out probably.
Seems Leeds fans are taking blind faith to new extremes this season.

big_smile I tried to put Lonegran in but couldnt work it out on my ipad. But yeah defo not Wiedwald. That experiment has ended. Which I think is what will ultimately happen to TC by Christmas.

I think you're right. The club seems to just meltdown very quickly.

They'll probably lose today although with it being the Championship you never know and the fans will start the slow but relenting torment of both manager and players.

As with the last chap I have no idea whether TC is any good but I'd rather he had a long enough spell that we find out especially as some of the stuff this season has been pretty good.

At the moment its just going to be repeat to fade forever . Different owners, managers and players and the same things happen time after time.

It must be the fans!

Shitty death.

No Dallas
Sadly a family bereavement has seen him return home to Northern Ireland

Re: Bristol City

We know they've got some talent and we know they're young players and mostly on contracts.  For the first time in ages the squad has some depth.  We're in a good place.  Premiership within 3 years.  Isn't that the plan?

Re: Bristol City

Could do with a 3rd early second half, we were 2-0 up here two years ago with two minutes to go and drew 2-2.

Re: Bristol City

Good win that. Hard fought.

TC has to stick with Lonergan and Vieira, unless they fuck up big style.

Cooper had a good game, too, by all accounts.
