Take a 1-0 win now. Hopefully Saiz back.

Re: Birmingham City - away

We should win this, easily. I'll go 3-1 to us.

The insurgency began.................and you missed it.

Re: Birmingham City - away

You look at their match stats and they're getting plenty of shots in and plenty possession.  But we all know how it is when you play OK but can't even buy a goal.

They'll come at us like a set of angry cunts and make it a physical match I bet and we're not setup for that.

Re: Birmingham City - away

I watched Canaries' 2-0 win at St. Andrew's streamed to my laptop. Birmingham did not look like a team that deserves to be at rock bottom. They have talent in their ranks, played some good attacking football and weren't afraid to shoot, if wildly for the most part. Their main problem is a chronic inability to finish off their moves. If and when they get it together, I suspect they will match many other teams in the league. So, while I'd still take Leeds to win, don't take this one for granted given their lowly position.

Sheffield Wednesday being another similar side, and look how that one ended for us, we got a right old rodgering. And now they are managerless. Quite bizarre really.

Schteeeeve 'schmoke & a pancake, flapjack and a chigarette, chigar and a waffle' McClaren is being lined up for them. What joy!

Shaugnessy starts in midfield, No O'Kane or Viera. Berardi captain.

Bad ju ju. Will be a draw. I'd probably be happy with that.

Could have been worse as Sheff Utd and Villa both lost, still 5th. Glass still half full.....

I'd like to think there was a little money to spend in January, but we're in the play-off places, things could be worse!

We're nicely poised in the little second league as it were. Couple of slips and we're in the shit, couple of wins and we're ok.

Feared the worst when I read this!

Don't appear to have the depth when players drop out.

The season could well hinge on who we bring in during the window.

Re: Birmingham City - away

Fuck it. Lost a match and stayed in fifth. Not really convincing but I guess if we can build a run at the right time then thats more important, timing the run to coincide to slip into 2nd or a strong run into the play offs a la Leeds Rhinos.

Wonder why Okane was left out.

Pish. Two international midfielders on the bench and he picked an inexperienced 4th choice CB in there instead. TC dropped a bollock today, selection and subs off were scandalous. Handed the game to them. You bank your bankers not take them for granted, hope lessons learned and acted upon going forward.
