Re: PNE at home

Ditto.

Preston can score, but they can't defend....

Need to make the most of that.

Re: PNE at home

As much as Millwall was a statement game going into it this is too. Might be different players involved but we play to a style, as a club, and they nullified it and then some in the cup.

Big week.

Re: PNE at home

Been checking websites trying to find the latest on the injuries but couldn't get any fresh detail. Assume pretty much same team as against Millwall then?
Might be best because Leeds will need to dig deep and this bunch on Saturday showed some gumption. If we really are contenders then this and Birmingham have to be bankers. I remain confident, 2-0 Leeds.

Team news

Patrick Bamford, Gaetano Berardi, Pablo Hernandez, Kemar Roofe and Jamie Shackleton are all expected to miss Tuesday's game with injury.  Adam Forshaw could again feature after coming off the bench in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Millwall.  Ryan Ledson and Ben Pearson are suspended for Preston, whilst Alan Browne, Calum Woods, Sean Maguire and Billy Bodin are sidelined with injury.

If anyone is off to this one you should take your boots and kit with you.

It's a decent team. Certainly stronger than the league cup game.

Re: PNE at home

Not sure how this will go but 2-1, us would, somehow, seem appropriate.

The insurgency began.................and you missed it.

Same team/bench as Sat

Peacock-Farrell, Ayling, Douglas, Cooper, Jansson, Phillips, Klich, Alioski, Saiz, Harrison, Roberts

Re: PNE at home

Couple of the PNE players down the right have been so discombobulated by Harrison and Saiz that they fell over with twisted blood (copyright Mark Lawrenson). Leeds all over the shop, in a good way.

Re: PNE at home

Well on top here, couple of shaky situations at the back. Better finishing and we'd be three up.

Re: PNE at home

Jansson having a good game, Harrison improving quickly. Roberts quiet.

Re: PNE at home

Brentford Shopping Centre drawing now as well.  Currently 3 points clear and 5 goals better in GD.

Giddy as fuck.

I'd offer you a beer, but I've only got six cans.

Re: PNE at home

Brilliant stuff, in the end.

If they keep playing like that, they're definitely going up. Even the ordinary players look like world beaters at the moment.

Glad to see Roberts getting off the mark, too.

Re: PNE at home

I’m intoxicated by the sweet perfume of victory. May grab another 30 mins kip before doing a one-man victory parade into the kitchen..Good win that, good to see Roberts get going.
