Topic: Movies that should be made into games

There'd probably end up being shit but the ones Id like to see:

Clockwork Orange: Would be fantastic. Especially if done properly and managed to have its cake and eat it and make a really good violent game which also made you question what your were doing.

THe Wicker Man: Just wandering around a mad, cut-off little world.

Awaydays: Consoles are good at doing crowds now. Would be ace. With authentic soundtrack and grimy locations, fighting, story etc.

Two Lane Blacktop - Having to race across the USA while drag racing locals in various towns along the way to earn money to pay for fuel and upgrades to the car.

Scum - Having to survive and rise to the top in Borstal.

Trainspotting - Commit crimes in order to fund a drug addiction.

Scum would be great. Just thought of another one- Quadraphenia.

Gliding around on a souped up Lambretta. Fighting on the beaches. Mod soundtrack. Fucking brilliant.

Battle Royale could be quite good - You'd probably need to change the story a bit otherwise it'd just be really short.

I like the idea of starting off with a pan lid as your only weapon though. Would make it quite hard.

Kes: Northern Kestral Rearing Simulator.

Get Carter - Side scrolling Double Dragon style beat 'em up from the Tyne Bridge through to Cyril's mansion with a 60's soundtrack.

2001: A Space Odyssey - Real time Elite style flight simulator to Jupiter.

Dead Man's Shoes - Manhunt in Matlock.

Beat Street - Street Fighter style Dance 'em Up using that dancing mat thing.

The Entity - Similar to Jet Set Willy except you get to rape and slap the woman about once you get in the bedroom.

Godfather Part III - Confusing and mind numbingly tedious text only adventure.

Mean Machine - ends in an all-in-brawl football match - maybe a league season?

Saw Beckford start his first game for Everton down under in Brisbane - he won't last long...

Battle Royale

Have been recommended this film twice in the last week - looks like I need to watch it

Even more so since i did a search on here for it and seen all the additional recommendations

I'd never heard of the bloody thing.......
