Re: now then

Would there be the need for a police force and judicial system in a society made up in entirely of angels?

These insults included calling any man by the name of a female animal.'

Re: now then

If your arms were made of biscuit, would you be able to resist dunking them in tea and eating them?

and if your legs fell off in your sleep, would you replace them with wheels or stilts?

Re: now then

Mick Ronson

*crosses oneself*

he should have a proper statue in hull, never mind Philip Larkin

other Hull bands

Red Guitars
Gargoyles
Kingmaker
Pink Noise
3-Action
The Company
The Velvetones
Scarlet
David Whitfield
Lene Lovich
Eric Lee and The Aces
My band, formed with various members of the above, that didn't have a name, only played Beefheart covers and split up after three rehearsals.
Er ...

Just get a statue of Hull with little markers where all The musicans hailed from & a big cross where Alex Sabella buried the swag
I thought Lene Lovich was from abroad US /Europe? she was way to exotic to hail from Hull
I remember falling of the scafolding inside the commie building at Bradford Uni in 78? at a Lene Lovich gig  which could have wiped out half the imaginary audience & there'd have been know one to to aplaud them for a oncour
My lucky Number was up that night
