Re: the price of a pint

My local is now Ossett Brewery and all their fine brews are £2.60.

I'd offer you a beer, but I've only got six cans.

Re: the price of a pint

£4-00 a pint of bitter in most pubs around Victoria where i work - more if you get dragged to a 'trendy' bar by the bints

£2.41 - Pint of Crystal from Manchester's own Joseph Holts.

Less for Bitter or IPA.

Monday club at Halifax W'spoons, Guinness 1-75 pint. Weds club all ales 1-75. Was in Ambleside last week and some joker tried to charge me 4-70 for a pint of Old Peculiar. I politely told him to return it to the pump and walked out.

A pub near hear is getting away with scalping customers the fat end of five quid for both guiness and peroni.  Silly fuckers pay it too.

I'd offer you a beer, but I've only got six cans.

On that note,  haven't had an alcoholic drink for 19 days now

Decided I needed to show i could go a month without one - had been pounding hard and heavy into it before that.

Face as puffy as owt and gut getting bigger and bigger

Don't feel any better for it and sleeping terribly - will stick with it though

Re: the price of a pint

Cost of a pint is now irrelevant, not because I have money to burn, far from it, its because these days there is no such thing as just a normal pint, it could be £2.50 in a Spoons or £8 a pint in the new "taps" style bars down here. Its about the beer itself and if its quality and pricey I simply adapt in speed of consumption sometimes.

Anything over 13th shows Brian McDermott is a miracle worker.

£3.95 for lager, £3.60 for Guinness extra cold in the local.

Re: the price of a pint

£2.80 in my local local for ale and another boozer I use is £2.50 for Marston's Sunbeam.

These are pretty standard black country prices.

Aim Low and miss...

Re: the price of a pint

2.55 in the Holts pub at the nd of the road. Cross over to the belgium place, 4.55 for a Blanche de Bruxelles.

I live in Eccles, Salford. Who'd have thought it....
