Topic: Ventnor - Isle of Wight

Stayed here for one night over the weekend. An old victorian place, hanging of the side of a hill, with a cracking beach & pubs & restaurants. I felt I was in the south of france, a great place. Will be tempted to go that way camping with the family next year.

Worth a visit.

I am just a common breed

As opposed to Isle of Man which was home to The Bee Gees (the band).

Site stalwart.

Thinking of going to IoW next year with the Mrs and kids - anyone on here any advice?

Ventnor sounds good -  after something akin to Bude / Saundersfoot

Cheers

Re: Ventnor - Isle of Wight

Went home with a bird from Belle Isle once, gave me the incee wincees.  Teach me to go to TC's on a Thursday night.

I'd offer you a beer, but I've only got six cans.

Re: Ventnor - Isle of Wight

Went home with a bird from Kippax once. Gave me fucking nightmares....

She’s the main man in the office in the city and she treats me like I’m just another lackey, but I can put a tennis racket up against my face and pretend that I am Kendo Nagasaki...

Re: Ventnor - Isle of Wight

Heading to IoW tomorrow for 4 nights

Gone for something near Bembridge and Whitecliff Bay

Will head to Ventnor for a few hours if the weather turns a bit - sit on the front with a plateful of shellfish and a bottle of Albarino while the kids play on the beach in their wellies and rain coats

Perfect
