Playground twist and Icon were amongst my favourite tunes as a kid but I always found the album hardgoing. I thought The Scream was excellent but nothing they did ever came close to Juju for me.

Thinking back A Kiss in the Dreamhouse was okay as well. I don't think I bought anything after that..

McKay and then McGeoch were excellent guitarists

Give Out But Don't Give Up - Primal Scream, got a bit of a hiding from the critics when it came out but listening to it it now has aged well, couple of weak tracks but some ace Exile era Stoneslike stuff.

Tupelo Honey - Van Morrison.

Always remembered it as a bit saccharine but it's aged better than I remember.

Soft Bulletin-The Flaming Lips

Remember been at an SFA gig and this American was waiting at bar beside me and we were talking about music. He said the only  other band comparable to the Furry Animals in his opinion were the Flaming Lips. He told me to buy this album, from memory I think I bought it the next day.

Have rarely listened to it over the years but recently gave it a blast. Race for the Prize is a great opener, never really hits those peaks again but Waitin For A Superman is a good song too.

Think I prefer At War With The Mystics though for listening too from start to finish. Think they have a best of coming out shortly. Probably a band I should listen to a bit more than I do
