I can't beleive they're still going and that I'm still going to see them. I even went to the concept album film show at the Lowry.

The Weddoes at the Lowry! Bizarro.

As good as the albums are I remain unconvinced about playing the album live in its entirety. And that goes for any band.

Have a good un.

Re: Wedding Present, Leeds

Love Weddoes but always thought they turned his mike down unnecessarily.  I like his voice, particularly the growl.  Doves copied that.

I'd offer you a beer, but I've only got six cans.

About 15th time I've seen them. That was about the best one yet. Fucking magnificent.

Using that many sticks is fucking cheating

Snatching misery from the jaws of glory since, ooooooh, 1973?

Re: Wedding Present, Leeds

Thought about this but didn't bother. Went to the 20th anniversary show in 2007 though.

Anyone seen that new book about them, Sometimes These Words Just Don't Have To Be Said?

Gutted I missed this, Weddoes are ace.

That George Best album is right up there and Bizarro isn't too shabby either.

One of THE most underrated bands ever!

Managerial endeavour = houses = money.

I think they're touring Tommy next year.

^^  Yes, they are.  Limited dates at present but i'd imagine that will change.  i missed them on this.  Played no where near me.

Played in my home town of Dover though!

I asked the wife if she fancied a festival next year - showed the 'at the edge of the sea' line up and she told me to fuck off.

Aim Low and miss...
