Not a weak track on this. An underrated songwriter and lyricist who I suspect would be held in greater esteem had she been born with a cock and an adam’s apple...

Always loved this album.
This track being, to my mind, a tragically neglected classic -

The insurgency began.................and you missed it.

Aye, love that, too but that track is the beginning of the change from Pink Floyd,  the psychedelic, experimental band to Pink Floyd aka The David Gilmour Experience.

Cover fascinated me as a kid. Probably a couple of decades before I actually listened to it properly....

Yes to the one above. And I'm still at the looking at the cover of the one above that stage.

Re: Great Albums You've 'Rediscovered'

I'm off to the old man's this week. Reckon I'll try and dig through some of the vinyl. There's stacks of LPs under the stairs and in the spare room. Deja Vu will be in there somewhere, from memory it had a 'textured' cover but that could be my mind playing tricks. It'll be warped to f***, you watch.....

Really into this right now, I haven’t listened to it in years. As good as it was in 87/88 when I was in love with its sense of glamour, its sense of fun and its sense of being unlike anything else out there. It still is.

Yello are ace.

Great album. Big fan but late to the party. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\

Bought this on recommendation when it came out, other than Ride The Tiger I was unconvinced but I've had it on a fair bit in the car of late and it's not half bad.

Good album that, Ride The Tiger, New Brighton Promenade. Had it on permanently when it came out. It was the album after Wake Up when they got lumped in with the Britpop crew. Wake Up Boo's pretty lame but the album's ace, Martin Doom It's 7 o'clock, Twinside, Wilder...

That was on In my Tribe. Now that was an excellent album.
