It was all going too well wasn't it?

Don't panic.  He'll be back in time for the annual January collapse.

Re: Bamford

Anyone we can recall from loan?  Ekuban?  Should we get a loan in from prem? Surely Bamford's wages are insured.

I'd offer you a beer, but I've only got six cans.

I am sure we have one or two gems in the Academy?

Ryan Edmonson & Sam Dalby. Very young though. Edmonson looks like a right handful. Big powerful lad.

Stand out player in the u23’s is Jack Clarke a right footed winger who plays on the left a lot. He looks quality.

Dalby is probably more like Bamford. Big ask though throwing them in early. Especialy with the unforgiving fans we have.

Re: Bamford

It's what needs to be done, was always going to be so.

So we got Roofe, Roberts, Dalby and Edmonson, and I'm sure we can play around with Saiz off the back of one up front, Alioski at a push, maybe even Klich if Forshaw comes back to play at the back of the MF.

Bet he's already tinkering around to see what works and sure we'll find someone, or a couple to step up.

Bringing a loanee back would be wrong IMO. He's got a core of players and a principle of x2 per 1st team shirt, we still have that with Bamford out. Stick with those we have and pick up in the winter window if really needed. Bamford whilst looking good, was really playing a super-sub role and I'm sure we've got one of those in Edmondson and Dalby.

Keep the faith and pass the Kool-Aid

Get him in, lets not fuck around, he will either sink or swim. Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney were thrown in, none of this 'too young' 'not enough experience' bollocks. David O'Leary saw that clearer than most, as did Alec Ferguson. Play them, it will all become clear quite quickly.

Re: Bamford

Roofs injured now as well, someone’s getting a chance to impress at Millwall.

Hernandez still out too.
Millwall is the last place you want to be going with a scratch team.

If Bielsa prises a result out of Saturday, it will be some feat at this rate.

Beradi out too apparently

Re: Bamford

Training ground injuries is concerning.
When Klopp first went to Liverpool , they had a lot too.

To stand aside is to take sides.
