June Whitfield

Properly sad about this.

June Whitfield was not in the "Hancocks Half Hour" radio show at all.  She only featured in the last two episodes of the final series of the BBC TV show in 1961, but as one of those episodes was "The Blood Donor" she gets to make my list of comedy royalty.

I had his card in my cigar box.  ????

I'd offer you a beer, but I've only got six cans.

St Dymphna's bar in the East Village. My heart is broken. 24 years I've here, 24 years she was open. Please don't be bothering us with your famous dead people while we have bars closing their doors for good. No words...

See her a few times in real life, bit foreboding but something about her. Think she was into her Horses as one time she was in Jodhpurs.

A mate of mine* had her as one of his fantasies.
Thought she needed "the release of a sex session for couple of hours in a Hotel room once a week" to make her more relaxed.

*not me. This time.
