Went to this on Friday - being a tad sceptical (other than Public service Broadcasting- the only reason I bought a ticket) I was unsure what to make of it, what to expect.

It was bleedin' ace - as a man of advancing years I could not think of much better to do than sit in a beautiful park in the sun listening to music and drinking a decent juicy IPA, the £5.50 a pint was a bit steep mind.

But taking a picnic some camping chairs and setting up shop for a good few hours was ace - the wife was reading a book, I was people watching and havinga mooch about.

Highlights - PSB were really fucking good - helps I'm a massive fan but live they were ace.
The Zutons or morre specifically Abi! Lawks! But seriously they were good and got everyone bouncing around.
Edwyn Collins - jesus that stroke has knocked him about physically but he can still hold a tune and Rip It Up and a girl like you were ace.
Tuung - trippy, melodic elctro folk - I'm a fan
Saint alto - kinda indie, alt folk - were very good and clearly having the time of there lives - front man has unfortunate speech impediment but did not stop him urging the crowd to join in.
County Line Runner - Embrace/Echo/Coldplay/Editors mish mash. I liked them - could see why others might not - anthemic indie but the vocal was next level for me, potentially zeitgeisty name lets them down a bit.
Emily Mae Winters - full on female solo folk singer - lovely voice.

Cant wait for next year.
