Deadly_Doug's_Love_Child Read a few reviews of their album and every single one has compared them to New Order. That just fucks a band for me, cos they can't hope to meet that expectation. Last time that happened was a couple of years back with The Whip. Couple of great tracks but overall nowt special and they wore thin on me pretty quick. Be interested to hear views on this lot. Not heard any of their stuff yet.

Tonton_Zola_Moukoko Saw them supporting Little Boots at the cockpit last year. Thought they were OK, to label them like New Order is unfair and lazy IMO. Reminded me of Orbital to be honest. I came away thinking thats nothing new but it sounds a whole lot better than most of the shit coming out at the moment. One thing I do remember is they know how to work that strobe, nearly had a fucking epileptic fit!
