king_of_the_slums Japan's domestic season kick's off at the beginning of March and Tokyo Verdy are back where they belong, having gained promotion to J-1 league last season. I'm intending to support Verdy this season, both home and away and will keep this thread updated with news, views and match reports whenever possible. I am sure at the end of the day, it'll be just me writing and updating this thread, unless any of the other TokyOMJ want to get involved? king_of_the_slums It looks like Verdy ground out a nil-nil draw against S-Pulse in the cup over the weekend, so things are boding well for the team in green. They've got a tough league match up next week, away to Osaka, hopefully they can sneak a win away from home against Osaka who have yet to win this season in the domestic league.

Diego being held back from kicking off at Osaka (wish this fucker would start scoring, he's getting like Tres..)Tokyo play Jubilo Iwata tomorrow evening and then we have our big day out at the Tokyo derby against the scummers, FC Tokyo. We'll be mobbed handed for this one with 11 of us all in for a 2pm pub meet and then on to Tokyo stadium for 5 pm kick-off.
