Under-the-ground Anchor smart as fuck. Absolute classics from the 80s. I thought they stopped doing them ?
Travis_Bickle Anchor maybe it's the picture but they don't look like the original ones. Remember when they were Inter before they were Hi-Tec?
king_of_the_slums Anchor Japan pulled out the original grey and silver jobs last year, I was impressed and it helped put some ghosts to bed for me as I had a pair as a yoof and got ripped for having Hi-Tecs. Most of the people that ripped me are either dead, or smacked out of their heads now. Would love to show them the Japan drops, see what they thought.. 😄 Not laughing now, are yer!
Anchor Travis_Bickle Inter became Hi Tec in one way or another. My first proper runners for running were inter marathons. Beige and brown with that 70's heel/toe swoop.
Travis_Bickle Just checked online. Inter were a different company. I had some light blue Inter running shoes as a kid.
Anchor king_of_the_slums I'll pass ta. I had a pair of hi Tec hi top BB shoes as a yoof thinking back. I put fat laces in them. No one took the piss. However Dover was a bit of a cultural backwater in 83.
Under-the-ground Anchor that made me laugh! I remember trying to breakdance with the fat laces bought from the haberdashery in town. The old dears must have wondered what these stupid kids were doing . I bet I looked a right prick. Some difference between Harlem the Bronx & Cheltenham Spa
cordshoes Hi Tec/Lotto were bought in mid 80s purely for the low silhouette after adidas droppd the gum sole city series to make runners.
