Talking of 'skate' trainers. I had some Adidas trainers in the 2000's, white with red stripes and I think they were called Adidas Skate? None of that face lace thing.
I got them from Harputs (or Zappos) and sold them to one of the twins who ran/run Casual Connoisseur.
I cannot find a photo of them.
