Anyone had any Hoka? They look a bit shit, but comfy as fuck apparently. Tempted because I’m getting on a bit and comfort is becoming more important than style these days. Ideally, I’d like to be talked out of it. Thanks in advance. 😅

AndreWeimaraner Every brand’s doing max cushioning soles these days.
I had a pair, hideous but comfy as fuck. Didn’t last too long though. I’m told Cliftons are the way to go if you’re just wearing them for day to day. Found Altras to be comfy. They’re different in as much as there’s no or little drop from heel to toe. It’s been good for my Achilles and similar to most shoes I wear. But again, they don’t seem that durable.
Been looking at Brooks Ghost for my next pair.

Or maybe some Saucony.

cordshoes I bought a pair of Ecco golf shoes a couple of weeks ago. By far the best I've ever had. No aches after 18 holes.
