Placid Anchor That lad is a Leeds fan from Pudsey, he's set him self up cleaning and customising Addidas trainers. Not my cup of tea but I guess there's a market for it.
Raposa I don’t do trainers now, only running shoes as needed but if I did I wouldn’t touch Adidas with a barge pole. Each to their own I suppose.
Mega_Armageddon_Chickens YoungParisian_inExile I've worn Wave Riders for years for running but the latest version I got didn't seem to be of the same quality as before. Or alternatively maybe my knees are proper fucked.
Raposa Mega_Armageddon_Chickens Like the Mizuno runners but my last two pairs have been Asics. My feet seem to get on better with them.
Mega_Armageddon_Chickens Raposa Just got a pair of asics before Xmas from that mail order place in Bradford. Not sure of the flavour but they feel ok so far.
Mitaman Bought a pair of these in June 2020, and are singularly THE most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. Ace trainers, will be buying another pair later this year for sure.
Foxy_Dread Mega_Armageddon_Chickens Sportshoes Unlimited? If so my boycot of that place is nearing 40 years. As I said to proprietor Bruce Bannister back in the early 80s, "you will burn in hell" . It won't be long now.
king_of_the_slums CBIT Bloody hell, someone's been busy with the Letraset Hanging, but then I am a bit spoilt...
Raposa Foxy_Dread Kinell a somewhat unfortunate use of words . Ive had a couple of pairs from the store before it closed and even managed to swap a pair without any fuss after realising they were too narrow fitting after a couple of runs. I think they fell out with the landlord over a rent hike and closed the store going online instead.
Mega_Armageddon_Chickens Foxy_Dread Wish you'd told me earlier I'd have gone somewhere else. What did he do?
