Anchor Album. They had a few singles, Darklands versions, that were a bit less polished than those on the album.

i think that rock star porn star is the best line in a song in years. Some talent.

Jon Much prefer the Darklands versions.

Jon Yes. Thus far I prefer Dogrel. Prefer the energy and pace. As a second album though they've gone for it. Could have easily knocked out a load mosh pit numbers but took a different tack.

I like the Fallesque vocal repetition on most tracks.

Anchor I haven’t heard the new album. What I, badly, trying to say is that some of the singles that are on Dogrel suffer from slicker production than when they were released as singles The Darklands versions. Still a great album but less raw than those original releases.
Excellent lyrics, really good writing and, yes, I guess Mark E Smith is the obvious comparison.
They’re very good live. Saw them with Idles. Thought they were the better band. Isles just turned everything up to 11.

Where did you see them?

I saw them at Rock city last year. It was utter chaos. Sublime chaos. The crowd were brilliant.
