CBIT Before my parents married they went to see Millie, somewhere like Nantwich. We’re talking mid-60’s. During her most famous song she goes up to Papa Cooley and ruffles his barnet. It’s not a particularly interesting story, but it’s one I’ve heard (more than) several times over the years. The older they get, the more they repeat. I get the feeling when I phone them at the weekend it’ll be due for ANOTHER airing. I’ll play along.
