Jon Me and the Misses stayed in Sussex gardens last year . The rooms are much as they were , but managed to shoehorn an en suite in them somehow . Alright though, walking distance from hyde park , when we went to stevie wonder.

Went down with a load of mate’s from Harehills for a concert, tho k it was Neil Young, ended up just have a few days on the ale in London.
When we got up to the rooms one of the lads opened the window, looked in the backyard and shouted, ‘That bed you threw out last time we stayed is still down there,’ to one of the others. I ended up kipping in the back of the van.
Still, compared to the place we stayed in near Finsbury Park it was like The Ritz.

Sussex Gardens? Apparently it is frequented by Romanian hookers after 10.30pm and some of those rooms are rented out by the hour. In the 30 years I have lived down here, it has never been a particularly salubrious area, but whilst Kings Cross, Farringdon, Shoreditch and the South Bank have all had money poured into them, that area has remained pretty much the same.
They spent some money on Paddington Basin about 15 years ago, but it`s not changed much around there.

Shiro Kishibe, a member of Group Sounds band The Tigers, and the actor who played Sandy, in the hit TV show "Monkey", has passed away at 71. He had been plagued with ill-health for some years, after suffering a brain hemorrhage in 2003.

Only Gortrex coat I ever has that was truly waterproof was the first Berghaus I bought, for £24, when I was 16. Heavy duty gear. Everything else has let the water in eventually. And I never understood Goretex shoes.
