I must come back on one point you made FD. I don't scorn anyone. My defenses are not that good that I can afford such judgements. I merely set down an observation and it was a general observation of "voters". Conservative supporters are, if anything, even more entrenched than Labour supporters because they have more to lose by change I suppose.
Simply put, I've always had a weakness for a girl who didn't wear the same clothes or have the same hair as all the rest. And if she had funky stuff buzzing about between her ears then that definitely did it for me.
