Travis_Bickle 90Piesanhour he always came across as someone you'd want to be around. That thing he did with Steve Lamaq is great. Watched it more than once with the eldest. She was genuinely sad when I told her this morning. You could tell he'd made an impact. He has such a lovely style when he plays. Very like Grohl. He was never the flashiest drummer but his feel was perfect for rock. And he hit the drums really well. Lots of rock drummers don't. I will always remember seeing them play at Milton Keynes with the Mrs. Death Cab For Cutie and Biffy Clyro supported. Bob Mould DJ'd that day and joined them on stage. We had a proper laugh. A really good and long day. RIP
Cooley I’m liking Growl’s new solo album. Very noisey, very good. Not quite what I expected. Dave’s ace. Lovely fella. Kurt, now Taylor. Poor fucker.
90Piesanhour Cooley Grohl just comes across as such a nice bloke. I hope he is, cos it's a good act if he isn't.
Cooley 90Piesanhour It’s no act. It’s common knowledge throughout the music biz. Everyone loves Dave.
Harvest 90Piesanhour Well one of them did, yeh I know that but that's about it. That and I now know who the drummer was.
Mega_Armageddon_Chickens zico Got a text about this last night. It made me check on Alan Sutton via the Web. One of those Leeds stalwarts really if that is the right word from a time when football was still fun.
