Our house is a big old draughty thing and the LPG heating only takes the sting out of things during winter. We supplement it with burning several ton of wood on a big log burner.
Unfortunately we had a chimney fire in January so the fire has been out of action. Just heard from the insurance that they're going to pay for chimney repointing, lining and new stove.
But in the meantime it's still winter woolies in the day time and wearing socks to bed.
