Travis_Bickle Was out on the MTB on Sunday. Second week on the bounce. After all this running definitely got the MTB mojo back. Nothing gets near. Did Ras Woods, Elland Woods and Copley downhill from Borland. I know that probably means f*** all to people but they're all cracking descents. Frozen ground just ever so slightly softening meant there was masses of grip. Happy days....
CharlieG The lad's ridden most of that stuff, Trav. He loves Calderfornia and is, currently, back in the Singletrack fold as a freelance tester and video producer.
Travis_Bickle Absolute cracker of a ride this morning. Trails were perfect. Dry but with a little bit of moisture left in places. Loads of grip. Couple of PRs on my favourite trail in Elland Woods. Happy, happy days.... Exit from Elland Woods. F***ing steep... Top of Cobbled Canyon...
Anchor So - the spring classics started this weekend. Omloop Het Neiusblad (sp) yesterday and Kerne - Brussels - Kerne today. Enjoyed yesterdays and Stybar rode a good race and clock a weakness in van arvement. Anyhoo - I have been feinding to go to a Classic and want to go to The Tour Of Flanders. Had a butchers at hotels last night. March the 7th mid range hotel £78 a night. April 7th, when the race is on, same hotel £600. So - thats that.

Travis_Bickle Still haven't changed over. Haven't had a puncture in ages (I know, just guaranteed one next ride). Was out on local trails on Sunday. They were near perfect. Got PRs on my favourite trails. 50 this year and riding the fastest I ever have.
CharlieG Figured I'd give it a try saying as the Hunt's are all ready to go and the Maxxis Ramblers are tubeless ready. The lad swears by tubeless.
CharlieG Well, that went well, mostly. Had to use CO2 cannisters but there was only a bit of swearing and no bukkake party..............more of a quick bunk up, by the bins, at the back of the pub. 😐
Travis_Bickle Fantastic ride out tonight on local trails. Load of 'PRs' on Strava. Riding faster than I ever have before. Tried to post a video on here but it's not having it. Happy days....
Anchor If anyone is into the spring classics then i'd try and find the Amstel Gold race and give it a watch - it was fucking ace.
