Well Misura says it all above. It is all up hill and down hill.
The bits I enjoyed was walking down to the river of a morning and having a mooch. I’m a veggie so the best food I ate was across the lower level of the bridge across to the other side. Turn right and there’s a restaurant called Uva by Calem, nice outside area looking across to where you have come from; http://www.chefantoniovieira.com/uvabycalem/
Over the road from there, and further down on the left is a restaurant called Porto Cruz, on the rooftop is a Terrace Lounge with fantastic views; http://www.espacoportocruz.pt/espaco/terraco
You’ll spot some great places just by walking around. This bar is in a small park and was cool; https://baseporto.com - it’s close to the Harry Potter bookshop and a Lacoste shop.
There’s a McDonalds there, and across the road is a stop for the old tram that takes you out to Foz, which is a beach area (20 minutes away). This is a cool place; https://portocool.com/en/eat/praia-luz
There are buses that run to Foz (S500?). We just drank white sangria as I found the wine to be too sharp.
Have a great time…
