That whole appropriation of other people's clothes is fascinating for a lad who lived through 'casual' - though I struggle with the term 'casual', as there was nothing casual about funding and hunting for clothes at that time!
And today's cosuals (cos-play casuals) leave me cold.
That Paninaro look 'steals' from other looks/countries but is extremely centred around Italian brands. Some of it I don't like, truthfully I was never a fan of the overt branding from SI etc, but the footwear, the jeans/chinos, socks and layering was always very smart.
