DJ Kulu, RIP
Interesting guy, went to Leeds to do his A-levels and then Uni from Hong Kong in the 60s, became a fashion photographer in the 70s and 80s, set up a couple of Jazz clubs in Edinburgh in the 80s, went back to Hong Kong in the late 90s, packed in photography and threw himself into the music. Nicest bloke you could meet, knew them all, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood, etc. Always so well turned out. DJed until he died yesterday, 79 years old..
