In the 1970's there was a strict 2 a.m. curfew, but showbiz people didn't finish until late so needed a place to go, and this was it. It was quite smart, not a shebeen.
Quite a few rooms for people to crash in for a few hours, but 2 big bar area full of loads of photos of Best, Parkinson and loads of stars.
As a kid I was just fascinated by the Ice making machine.
