heyho CBIT I may be getting the James & Weddos gigs mixed up with regard to the Butter Cookies support, both of the gigs had the band off stage in the first couple of songs due to mayhem in the audience. Ive seen a picture of James at the Astoria in their early days. Tim Booth, always a diplomat, was very polite about the crowd.
heyho Jon Blue Angels. Beefy put one of them through the cig machine. They used to frequent the Vic pub next to the Town Hall before it got all restored. Was only mentioning to the wife an incident in there when I suddenly was grabbed by each shoulder and a Blue Angel says to me very politely 'excuse me may I pass you please'. Next minute he was knocking 7 bells out of somebody. So funny was that.
