doggybag cordshoes Regarding Under the Skin did you know that non actor males in Glasgow were used as passengers in Johansson's van? In fact, most of the characters are non actors and unaware because the director used hidden cameras. The guy is strange, almost as strange as Michel Faber who wrote the book. Gave me the creeps.
cordshoes Just on a plane on a longish flight. There's a subsection on the films menu called Irish films. Any recommendations?
cordshoes Cheers lads. Aer Lingus flight, hence the choices. Watched 3. The best was A Date for Mad Mary. They do have a bit of realism in them....modern Irish versions of kitchen sink dramas
Bod Till Set in 1955 tells the true story of Emmett Till who was murdered in a lynching and his mother who seeks justice and exposes the racism behind the attack. Good but probably 30 minutes too long, got drawn out, a film that makes you angry.
Anchor Bod Looks like hard work. I've seen it advertised but think I'll get to a grey/upset He crops up in a book called The Trees by Percival Everit. Well worth a read.
