space "Jiu Jitsu" on Netflix. So far I'm 20 minutes in and so far it has not been cluttered with nonsense such as plot or believable narrative in any form. I'm losing the will to fucking live. I doub't I'll make it to the half hour mark.
space "Oh look. There's some sort of King Fu master over there. Instead of shooting him en masse, let's all run at him one at a time."
space OK, the dubbed on wooshing noises as punches and kicks are thrown almost makes it comical, but fuck it, my life is finite. Switching off at the 27 minute mark.
90Piesanhour space Ha, ha! I watched all of it. It was complete and utter nonsense, but strangely compelling for all that. You didn't miss anything, of course. Spoiler alert: they sent Brax back from whence he came in the end. Beautiful stuff. 1/10.
white_dragon Unhinged, Russell Crowe is one bad bastard. Modern day Dual ish. 90 minutes never went so fast.
Foxy_Dread Cooley Don't mention James FFS, I'm about to get my one interesting story out AGAIN! When I lived in Brighton my favourite local celebrities were Chris Eubank (with truck) and Jimmy Mann.
Harvest Foxy_Dread One interesting story? Your Wedding Present/Cud mix up makes two. Jimmy Mann, 'celebrity'.
Foxy_Dread Harvest Ha. Jimmy Mann was a Glaswegian in my local pretending to be ex Leeds and Bristol City pro. I took him at face value but wondered why he never really answered my v early 70s Leeds questions. Pat's Laughter unmasked him. It's on here somewhere.
space Jon Watched Butch and Sundance last night. Never get tired of it. ’Woodcock?’ It must be one of the best films ever made.
90Piesanhour Watched John Carpenter's 'Vampires' last night, copied from the Horror Channel. Entertaining, but nothing special. Not as good as The Thing, but few are.
Mega_Armageddon_Chickens space One of my sisters thinks it's a load of sentimental rubbish and particularly hates the nonsense raindrops scene. However for all that it's definitely one of my faves and in a world where I like films for certain scenes the bike/raindrops scene is great. The Good the bad and the Ugly is unmatched though.
