CBIT SardineTree The Brazilian is back from the Falklands and staying at mine for a week or so so I've booked ooh ooh seven (as she so charmingly calls him) at the everyman tomorrow afternoon (playing hooky from work again)
Jon The English Patient. She’s got it on, I can’t be arsed moving off the sofa. Plus Juliette Binoche.
90Piesanhour Oxygen. Watched on Saturday. Woman wakes up in a cryogenic unit and doesn't know what's going on. It was alright.
EEPW Flicking through Netflix and came across this beaut "edge of fear" had a few actors from prison break in it so thought what the fuck. Holy shit! so bad i had to rewatch some of it just to confirm that what i had just seen actually happened! I cannot list the amount of plot holes. coupled with the bad acting (the chinese guy trying to act injured throughout the movie with a knife sticking out of his heart is priceless!) Demands a viewing! so bad it deserves 9.5 out of 10 for pure entertainment value.
space Watching "Find the Lady" on Netflix. It's a who's who of 1970s comedy and acting talent. John Candy, Dick Emery, Mickey Rooney, Alexandra Bastedo, Peter Cook. It's also shit, but I'm too invested in it to stop now. 2 steaming turd piles out of 10.
CharlieG EEPW Me too. Loved the books but the David Lynch version was shite. The less said about Sting's involvement, the better.
Reggie_Perrin Scum on Amazon. Whatever else we lived about it as young lads its a very good TV drama. Mick Ford as Harper in particular is excellent. I'd like to rewatch the original of the same year with David Threlfall in the same role.
Cooley Reggie_Perrin I remember Mick Ford from The Knowledge - another fine film from the late 70’s. Ford writes a lot for TV these days.
