Placid yep watched it last night all the way through, cant figure out if Dave is the creator of human life sent back in time by the aliens, or the aliens sent a seed to populate Earth and the black obelisks are just triggers so they can monitor how far advanced we have become. anyway i sat through the 10 minute psychotic time travel warp sequence after downing 2 beers and a bottle of red.
