90Piesanhour Watched 'The Third Man' last night, and 'Captain America - The Winter Soldier', the night before. Some contrast there. The Third Man is beautifully shot, and great soundtrack. Captain America, less so. Good fun, though.
CBIT The Lost Boys In my yoof (so long ago) i used to work at Morrisons, i managed to acquire to video two vhs films, Predator and The Lost Boys watched both of them so many times know all the words before they are spoken. People are strange.
Travis_Bickle CBIT Horsforth? My first job was there. Worked on 'produce'. Bloke in charge of it was ordering in stuff to sell in his brother's shop
CBIT Paris, Texas, only been meaning to watch this since 1984 when it featured on Film84 (somehow the scene with the ice cream van has stayed lodged in my mind) Film4 stuck it on in the early hours of last week
CBIT CBIT Ha, well theres no scene with an ice cream van, but it was the funny walk one i was thinking of.
Harvest CBIT I was thinking 'What's he on about?' I only saw the film a few weeks ago and there was no Mister Softee in my version.
90Piesanhour Watched 'The Lighthouse' on Netflix at the weekend. Like David Lynch meets Jim Jarmusch meets Alfred Hitchcock. All in B&W, of course. Strange.
Mega_Armageddon_Chickens Frogs on Talking Pictures. It's getting quite sinister. There's loads of them and they appear to be surrounding the house. Still no CGI so proper acting Frogs.
cordshoes Mega_Armageddon_Chickens I often record 1970s films just in case I find a hidden gem. This wasn't. Off after 10 minutes.
