Watched 'American Beauty' again. In years to come it will be seen as a classic of the time. Spacy is at his best and while I think that Bening can be shrill at times her scenes with Spacy are like two people with their fingers in a power socket. Chris Cooper is immense and terrifying. The script, the plot, the sound track, the camera work. I'll watch this again and again.
