Watched 'The Hurt Locker' last night, with our son. It is a film that can't decide what it is; anti-war, anti-Iraq/Iraqis, highlighting the futility/fun of war, highlighting PTSD/depression/macho culture...
It didn't seem to know where it was going or what it was trying to say and left us both bemused and not a little bored.
