Been thinking this morning (hard work on a Sunday morning). The only reason we are confident in our view of Putin is that we trust our news media. We trust BBC, ITN, Sky to give us facts and we are then able to process it. Many other countries, Russia being one, do not have this and we need to protect this.
I have often watched RT as sometimes it was a good counterbalance to the uber capitalism of the west but after Ukraine I'm not sure it should be allowed back on UK airwaves.
