Just been to Shack in Shepherds Bush, but shaky at first , but great. Bit of a John Head love-in, not sure how that might pan out over the next few dates. Talking of Love, encored with A House Is Not A Motel. Glorious.

Jon they were excellent. Band of 6, with the exception of the bass player, all hopped around playing different instruments. 4 of the band provided a lead vocal at various times.

90 minutes of a beautiful psychedelic wall of sound.

Got back to the car to find out Leeds had won. Win! Win!

Great night. With a back catalogue like theirs you can't really go wrong. Bonus points for including One Better Day and The Sun and the Rain. As a couple of thousand jocks belted out the lyrics to Our House I remembered a story from years ago a couple of mates of my brother were on a kibbutz, and one night around the campfire all the various nations sang their respective folk songs. Being English they were stumped, so went for My Girl and Baggy Trousers.

Bryan Adam’s. Cardiff arena.

Just went on the off chance as he was nearby. Never seen him before and not really a fan. Banged out run to you early on, proper old school rawk, then put out a power ballad which was a proper cheese fest. Then it picked up back to the rock. I had to say he was very good & his band were excellent.
He did the Robin Hood song unfortunately, but I was singing at the end. Then summer of 69, the reason I went. A proper rock classic.

All in all I enjoyed it. He still has a very good voice & im glad I went. Good night out
