Travis_Bickle Me and the Mrs saw Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit at the Bridgewater Hall on Monday. As good as it gets for me. Everything about him and them just works. People doing what they love. A beautiful noise. The 'put you phones away and enjoy the show' message before they came on was a refreshing touch. Not a single mobile seen throughout the entire set. Adapted some songs from the Foxes In The Snow solo album like Crimson In The Clay for the full band. The setlist had some old Drive-By Truckers and more solo stuff. A really good mix. Will Johnson who plays in the band did a solo acoustic set as support. Acemans.

Travis_Bickle Jon it was really good. Setlist had a bit of everything. Changing Man was a highlight. And Strange Town. The Piece Hall is a great venue. And the people watching was top notch.
