Well I have a confession to make. I must have been the only person in a failry packed Arena that DIDN'T enjoy it. Mrs H loved it, the Newcastle supporting geordie next to me had never seen anything as incredible.
Firstly the crowd. Around 20% spent the whole concert with their phones on recording it. The remaining 80% minus 1 spent the time during each POPULAR song dancing like a cringeworthy work colleague at an office party. Jeez.
Anyway as for the actual content. They did 4 or 5 songs from their non Dare hits section. Then they attacked Dare. The best (and good) section for me was when they did Get Carter, I am the Law, Seconds. Loved that but the rest of the Arena didnt based upon everyone stopping dancing and reverting to their phones.
It just felt very processed. the sound wasnt billiant and we never heard his great voice.
Put them in a small venue and I think they would still be very good but this was large venue and they did a 'professional' number
