Last night. For one bloke and a guitar Bob makes a hell of a noise. He apologised for not doing much chatting between songs, as his voice was shot but it wasn't evident as he hit every note.

Got the venue to turn the aircon off whilst he was on stage - it dries his throat out, apparently.

CharlieG Just reflecting on the gig - it was a nice touch that he included the Foo's "Dear Rosemary" in tribute to Taylor Hawkins.

A couple of weeks later she called me and said she had two tickets for the Charlies and it was my birthday, happy birthday, what time should I pick you up? The refrains of Play Misty For Me were reverberating at the back of my mind. I politely refused, and told security never to let her anywhere near me. (the days before mobile phones).
