Saw Babybird on Thursday night. They were fucking brilliant. He's genuinely funny with an acerbic wit. The band were tight as fuck and a stripped back four piece wall of sound style really suited it. His soaring vocals still really strong at 60.
Seeing them again on the 10th supporting Pele/Amsterdam/Ian Prowse.
Ian Prowse was support. He's a great singer with same great songs as well.
Top night and all my Babybird memories came flooding back.
