CBIT fulmine You should have mentioned earlier - i had a link for yesterdays presale I'm tempted to get the box again - the last omj/echo concert at The Albert Hall was a riotous occasion
fulmine CBIT Thanks. Yeah, I had the link to that, but thought it was today, was wondering why there was so little on offer… anyway, got decent enough seats, so can’t complain.
Jon Anchor Did a multi night stand at Madison Square Garden a while back. Touts asking $20 on the night. Love seeing those parasitic bastards take a beating.
Odd_Job Tuesday - Michael Head and the Red Elastic Band @ Crookes Social Club, Sheffield Thursday - Steve Mason @ The Crescent, York
Foxy_Dread Anchor I'm too stuck in my ways for such fripperies. The post punk thing made it about the music and fancy shows were frowned upon. I remember being disappointed when the Fall had coloured lights for the first time.
Tolley Foxy_Dread I bet it was you shouting "Judas" at Dylan when he went electric at the Manchester Free Trade Hall.
Foxy_Dread Tolley we didn't go and see bands like Joy Division and The Bunnymen all po-faced and earnest to accept ticker tape bombs without tutting.
Anchor Black Country, New Road - May in Brum. Full tour announced of all new music sans the old singer who wussed out. https://www.songkick.com/artists/9693119-black-country-new-road/calendar Leeds date on there.
Young_Marxist_at_Tescos Anchor Seen these before. Not bad at all. On in Leeds in Feb. Might wander over.
Under-the-ground Pondering whether to see the version of Big Country in a couple of weeks in Port Talbot which is a steel town. The idea feels right. The drummer is still original & Stuart Adamsons right hand guitar man , with his son . So could be good??
Under-the-ground Anchor some grey haired bloke? They have been going a while with this line up. Won’t be the real McCoy but will be good to hear atleast just a shadow & others in a live setting. Also off to see a local band in Newport called Red Telephone at the end of February who are pretty good
