Saw Angel Olsen last night at Leeds Irish Centre, I think she's only doing a couple of gigs over here. First time I've been there. Bigger inside than I expected and a sell out. Not sure what it holds, 600 maybe? One door had old Irish blokes in sensible jumpers going in and out for a smoke, the other has middle aged gig goers/students piling in.
She was superb, really good gig, full band with a couple on strings too. The slower more atmospheric ones you coul hear a pin drop. She's funny, chatty, very sweary and cool as fuck. Encored with Harry Nilsson's Without You!
