Stuff little fingers in Bristol with glen matlocks band in support.

Not my usual bag, but I went because they were good on the dog day afternoon thing last year. A bit too punk for me, but they have got a few classics.

Glen Matlock was worth the admission as well. Old blokes playing rock n roll. They gave off a proper London 1950s vibe. They played a real mix .

All in all a good night

Flaneur very good. Largest chunk of the set was dedicated to SM back catalogue up to and including New Gold Dream, with Waterfront, Belfast Child and a new one, thrown in. Last half a dozen including encore (4 tracks) was then all Once Upon A Time tracks with exception of Themes for Great Cities.

Strange audience, largely 40 something couples, who on the whole were battered. As we arrived, two couples were being escorted out, with one of the females of the group, clearly so pissed they’d been asked to leave. A brawl broke out a dozen seats in front of us, and one of the guys chose not to comply with a request to leave and started to push a steward, cue the heavy duty security mob to file in. Fella clearly imbued with his ‘result’ of bullying the kid steward, tried the same with the heavy mob, it didn’t end well for him.
